Favorite Fall Décor

You all, it's absolutely autumn! (Now that I've said it, please don't hold it against me.) Halloween is quickly approaching, so if you haven't already, it's time to embrace the season.

Check out the assortment of both new and old items and decorations with an autumnal theme. For some reason, autumn especially gets me in the retro mindset. Well, the holidays and winter do come to mind. Whatever the case, there is something for everyone, new or old.

These days, I like a more restrained color scheme that is more neutral and understated rather than colorful and obviously "seasonal." I like to swap things up easily:

  • Replace a light linen pillow with a mustard-colored one. (Mustard is now my favorite autumn food.)
  • Over the arm of a sofa or chair, place a cozy throw.
  • Replace a light vase with a dark one.
  • Replace live summery foliage with organic, dried plant life.

Repeat this process a few times, and presto—fall vibes without the hassle! Check out these autumnal decorating ideas
